2G Walbro 255lph or 190lph

hey fellas im about to get a fuel pump and cant decide whether to get the walbro 255 or the 190. im running a t-25 and 11psi. yea i know why is this guy running a t-25? well because the car came with it and im planning on upgrading to a 50trim or a FP green real soon. but for now i have to settle for the t-25. what boost will i be able to run after i install the fuel pump? i got a the basic mods right now,im limited in cash right now so i had to choose between the pump or a downpipe and i choose the pump. hope i made the right choice.thanks for the help fellas i really appriciate it

Well, the 255 will probably make you run pig rich, but that's what I would go with so in the future you have more flexability.

In fact, I DID go with it. To compensate for the extra rich condition, I hacked my MAF to let in more unmetered air and adjusted the plastic screw accordingly as per my datalogger readings. And it runs like a champ.

190 is all you need, I'm running my 18g at 20psi with 46psi fuel pressure on my walbro 190 and its all good. 255 you will need an AFPR.

so a 190 will do then? will i run rich on the 190 or not? will the 190 be enough when i upgrade to a 50trim or the FP green? i have one more question, i went to extreme psi and they have 2 walbro 255s one says 255HP lph and the other says walbro 255 lph whats the difference? im only planning to buy the pump so the afpr will have to wait.im getting the pump for $99 is that good or what? im going to purchace tonight or tommorow so your help would be appriciated.

The 255HP lph is the High Pressure (HP) version of the 255 pump. and the other is the low pressure.

Here is my story: when i had my 14b i was running very lean with the stock fuel pump.....so i bought a new fump. On accident i bought a 255hp....now the claims arr that it makes you run"pig rigc" and have a bad idle and that you NEED a fpr ect....thats all bullshit. I hacked the mas and that thing ran like a fricking champ. ,.now, from what i hear a 190 will not flow enough for a green or equivilent....just my oppinion.

If you have an AFPR then get the 255HP. (I hope you don't mean the B&M add on piece?)
