Best UICP for 90 TSI?

I e-mailed dejon about this . . .

My message:
Hi,

I drive a 1990 Eclipse and have been looking for a UICP. I was just
curious if your pipe fits the 90' because of the location of the cruise
control. It sticks out pretty far and looks like it may interfere with
installation. Any information you can provide about this will be much
appreciated.

Their reply:

Yes it fits between the cables which will pull out slightly for slack thru
the Fuel rail brkts, Dave

Now, I also looked at Straight Line Specialties pipe. It too looks like it would work. IMO, the SLS pipe looks like it might flow better too. (one bend vs. two) *shrug*

I have the SLS pipe. It is 2.5'' all the way to the TB. He has them on ebay sometimes for a 100 bucks. SLS is the way to go.:thumb:
Just my two cents.

I would pull the cruise but it's my daily driver... and I have a 6 hour drive home for holidays and such. :(

Does the SLS pipe usually come with a TB elbow on ebay for $100?

I have the SLS 2.5" UICP on my 1990 and I love it. I did have to remove my cruies control but it was real easy.

I got mine off ebay for $100.00 and it does come with the throttlebody elbow too.

Check my gallery if you want to see what it looks like under the hood.
