6 Bolt Block....?

I have a 1995 GSX with the 7 bolt block. What I am wondering is..... is the 1st gen eclipse a 6 bolt block...??? Also, is the 97-99 Eclipse a 6 bolt as well? Are the y the same engine? Did mitsubishi decide to go back to the 6 bolt b/c of the crank walk? Also, where can I get a 6 bolt block, and about how much is a reasonable price to pay for the block? Any help would be great.

All 2Gs are 7 bolt, even the evo 8 is a 7bolt, even some of the 1gs are 7 bolts i know its after the pop ups yeasr somewhere from 92-94. But if you pick your cars just right from 92-94 you can get the 6 bolt with the 4 bolt rear end.

The 89 to May of 92 are six bolts. Thats all. They never went back to a 6 bol motor. You can find a six bolt in my car and in my garage on a tire. You can also find them on www.dsmtrader.com and if you are lucky some local junkyards might have them laying around.
