I have a 50 trim and i'm wondering the best way to go as far as hooking
up a 3-in downpipe to a 2.5 flex bend at the turbo outlet? Cause i want a full 3 inch.

And what does an o2 eliminator do for the car?

02 eliminators eliminate the 02 housing completely, making the 02 housing and downpipe one piece. I dont care for them, as they make it more difficult to remove and reinstall. If you have the same kit I do, you have a 2.5" tubular 02 housing, that is flanged for a standard downpipe. As far as I am aware, all of the 3" downpipes that are not 02 eliminator will have a 2.5" flange then go to 3" after that.

Keep in mind that when the air is hotter, forcing it through a smaller opening makes it move faster, and as it cools the air slows down and expands. So having a 2.5" 02 housing and a 3" downpipe isn't going to hurt performance too much.
