Ok. Its a TDO6 20g, but with a 57trim compressor wheel and a ported turbine housing on a 39mm flapper with bigger port.

Before doing the 39mm flapper mod, the car on stock boost suposely.. was hitting 16psi by 4k and 26+ by 7000rpms. so i decided to order a 39mm flapper and port the turbine housing and enlarge the wastegate port to fit the new flapper . Time for a test drive, MBC completely closed it was 9psi by 3700rpms and 16psi by redline, that was much better, so i set the boost to 20psi but it feels like the wastegate opens too soon once i floor it at around 4000rpm so i only get around 12psi by 4k and 20-21 by 7000rpms not good if u r a GST and are used to roll start . I am using an adjustable actuator from a Garret i tried installing washers between the turbo and the flange so it could be harder for it to open.. and almost the same thing.. I am about to get pissed and do an external wastegate setup but thats a lot of money. I wanna know what u guys think before doing this, Is it bacuse of the actuator , should i keep adding washers? or should i just do the external WG setup (What size what spring)

The only way the car feels pulling hard on lower RPMs it if i set boost to 18 at around 4k but thats around 25+ by 7000(notgood)

Any suggestions?

Weird turbo, Big Greddy IC,Walbro 255lph,550cc RC,AFC,3inch full exhaust o2 elimin with dump. 2600pressure plate & Street Disk. Ported Exhaust manifold. Bigger Injectors ASAP......
 
I would recommend sending it to Extreme Turbo they have got internal wastegates to work on some of the largest turbos. There is a certain way that the actuator needs to be positoned for it to work correctly.

Other than that I would say try to open up the hole behind the flabber again.
 
Is anyone using the 35mm tial gate on a 20g or larger turbo? Will it work good on this turbo? I am looking for a wastegate that i can weld to my manifold without taking out the power steering or having to put one of those really small radiators... Any suggestions?
 
You could do an o2 housing mounted external wastegate. It is better to mount it there. because then you are releasing exhaust from all four cylinders insead of just one.
