Turbo-Performance 4G63 Manifold

Anyone out there using the Turbo-Performance exhaust manifold for the 4G63? I am tempted to swap out my ported 2G for one.

pacesetter makes something almost exactly like that and sells it for around 100-150. they are sold on summit racing. but i havent heard any reviews or anything about it.

Do you have the link to it. I was looking on Summit and the only thing that pacesetter sells in terms of exahust manifold is for NT.

Those manifolds are made by OBX and are very poor quality. We bought one just to have a look at it just to see how bad it really is. Here is a quick run down of what I found.

The tubing is very thin, about the same as a penny which is about .050 vs .125 for a regular manifold.

THe tubing is stainless steel, but it's welded to a mild steel flange which has a different expansion rate than stainless which promotes cracking

As you can see they welded a brace on it after-the-fact to help reduce crack which it does not.

This item on our test car cracked in 4 days around the collector under normal driving conditions.

Yes it has a limited lifetime warranty against cracking which is fine if you like to drive for 4 days at a time then have your car appart for 2 weeks while you get warranty.

These are sold on ebay, here are some pieces of feedback form people who bought them:
