what on earth does the rear o2 sensor. If you dont have a cat, do you really need one?? I am asking this is because my rear o2 sensor is dead and i really don't want to spend $70 on something i don't need. Can I just unplug the connector and plug the hole with a bolt.

thanx

if you take it out you get a cel

Not always. Depends on how CEL your ECU is. My rear O2 has no problem with a full N1 downpipe that's got no cat on it.

If your not getting a cel than leave there. It's not bothering anything. You may get cel if you unplug it because the ecm will detect a fault in it's heater system. Will it effect driveability? No.
