She finally walked!!!

Well its been a little while since i have posted. Lest see on this past friday i blew the tubo. SHit that sucks oh well ive been wanting bigger anyway. IT was making some weird sounds so i knew there was something else too. Well the clutch pedal has been feeling really weird lately so i didnt want to think it but it was there in the back of my mind. Then on saturday She finally did her last kill and decided that was it. Beat a friend of mines litghly modded evo. ON 12psi on a blown turbo and a crankwalked motor i was pretty excited. WEll now im trying to figure where to go to pick up a fully built short block. I cant wait its going to be a blast.

Yeah i might go with magnus i like there work. Also for all that is wondering i had 71,000 miles on the car. I had a ported 1g head and magnus intake manifold and 272 cams. SO i just need a bottom end now.

did it just walk...or did the extra play cause it to throw a rod and screw up the whole engine...you sure you head is fine and not damaged in anyway...I sure hope it isn't

I went through that whole ordeal back in Feb. Now I'm on my second 6 bolt.

You just have to be careful of where you get your motor from. The first 6 bolt I got had quite a few miles on it and had leaky valve seals. It still pulled hard but I swapped it out in favor of a built up one with forged internals and what not. Kinda broke even in the whole proccess. I hope supereclipse can do the same.

whew! i thought your gonna say you had crankwalk or something.

i got a used JDM and rebuilt the whole thing.

New Oil pump
new water pump
new timing belt tensionar
balance shaft eliminator
Metal Head gasket
ARP head studs
External Oil cooler filter housing 90style (using greddy 13row core)
New stock intake guides
3rd revision lifters
regular valve job
new piston rings
new rod and main bearings 25 over
Polished head surface
and many other stuff.

Gonna start it in a couple of days, funny I have been saying that for a couple of months now. Hope all goes well.
