Straight out of the gate

I installed a external wastegate on a evo III manifold friday and I didn't think at the time to get a flange to make a downpipe for it so it is running out straight from the wastegate. Can this hurt anything by running straight out or will it be ok for about a week?

It will melt EVERYTHING. Keep it out of boost until you get a dumptube made.

Do you mean outside the engine like wires and plastic or internal like valves?

it'll melt stuff underhood... like your front engine cover... anything plastic... lotsa stuff...

anything in the path of the exhaust coming outta that thing will eventually look like melted wax driping down a candle

I've got a fabricated downpipe but it's just not sealed at the top.
