The perfect 4G63 Motor

If I were to start a project buying a block and head from any year 4g63 motor, which would be my best combination. To make a long story short, I would like to start assembling a motor to eventually drop in. Fully built, but I would like to know which head is the best, which bottom end to use and what not, so I know where to start. Any help would be much appreciated

6 bolt block and i think the first gen heads are better that 2nd gen if im not mistaken. Not fo sho tho.

you want a 6bolt block from a 90-92 turbo, and if you plan on leaving the head stock, you want a 1g head. If you are going to do full porting, the 2g head has more meat to work with and will be better in the long run from what I understand. You'll want the intake manifold and TBody from the 1g though.

OR if you want one of those torque monsters, skip the 2.0 block altogether and get a 90-92 6bolt 2.4l block from a galant and then drop the turbo head on it. MEAN....

no such thing as a perfect motor...just make sure it wont brake and your set....

6 bolt bottom end, head, intake manifold, cam angle sensor, and throttle bodies are all better than their 2g counterparts
2g exhaust manifold, throttle body elbow, and pistons are all better than their 1g counterparts
