Hey all, I have a question...

you know when you say damn it I have to pull the motor to do that or I wish I could pull the motor to do this what would you all do Mine is out and I want to know befor I regret putting it in. thank you

Q. What is a run-on sentence?

A.:
A run-on sentence is an ungrammatical construction in which two or more independent clauses are improperly joined without a conjunction or appropriate punctuation. When a sentence contains several subjects and verb combinations causing the reader to read on and on, that sentence is called a run-on sentence. The effect is that the reader loses the main idea of the sentence. Example: "He doesn't need me he just calls to make himself feel better." Here you could use a semicolon: "He doesn't need me; he just calls to make himself feel better." Another example: "I went to the store I was out of bananas." Here you could either use a semicolon or a conjunction, such as because: "I went to the store because I was out of bananas."

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think the sentence should be read like this:

"You know when you say, "damn it, I have to pull the motor to do that" or, "I wish I could pull the motor to do this." What would you do [while the motor is out]? Mine is out and I want to know [what else I should do] before I put it in [and regret not doing something]. Thank you."

I know, I know, I have WAAAY to much time on my hands.....and its true, but in response to your question I would say replace anything that seems to be showing its age or seems to be worn. It would help to know what you have replaced in the first place. If you only took the motor out in order to swap in another it would be dumb for us to tell you to take the head off and replace lifters etc.

One thing that should always be done is the timing belt.....can't change that too early. More info will be greatly helpful!

Clutch, Balance shafts (DO IT), Timing belt, Clean it for the hell of it (get some polish and make it super bling bling). That's all I can think of really.

thank you all for taking your time to correct my errors. But the engine is out for a rehaul, plan in cleaning it all up really nice, I already have a really nice dual friction clutch for it, timing belt it new, and I was thinken about doing all the main oil seals...
