Waltham,
Hey. I have been waiting for a long time to earn the money for a 16g turbo and now I am getting close to having one. Recently I was price shopping and I came across a website (slowboyracing) that has 2 different versions; a 16g turbo and an "evo III" 16g turbo. The evo III seems to be better but is $100 more... when most people get 16g turbos do they get the normal one or the evo III.... help i am confused!

there is now three types of 16G
1. 16G
2. Big 16G
3. EVO III Big 16G

The significant difference is the EVOIII is about 2lbs. lighter and the inducer wheel is larger. It really up to you on how patient you are most people get the Big 16G because the EVO III Big 16G was pretty hard to get your hands on till a few months ago. I would go for the EVO III Big 16G or an 18G because i just like to be different.

so the evo III that slowboy racing sells is really a big 16g? how much difference would the evo III really make over a 16g?

i am personally going with the evoIII 16g. i was researching around and that seems to be the best bet for what i am going for. and on top of that i can run it on the stock side mount for the time being until i can afford a front mount.
