Does anyone have this or know what it does? I have been searching for htis for a while because when I bought my car this is oe of the things that was put on it, but I don't see what it does. I have a feeling it gets rid of the rev limiter and fuel cut but I'm really not sure. I haven't been able to find anything on it for our cars ...all I know is on all the receipts for work done on my car that was on there.

and how would the ECU raise the boost at all? if you can explain that one to me that would be great... LOL. sorry for the sarcasm, but our ECUs will not do that.

The G Force Ecu upgrades are much like the Jet performance upgrades...except G Force really worked on the ecu. I heard a lot of good stuff from people who used G Force for ecu upgrades. I think they are out of business now though.

Is'nt the stock boost solenoid controlled by the ecu?

yes. but that will only lower the boost when the car sees knock... there is nothing the ECU can do that will raise the boost.

ok,lower the boost-how?by allowing the wastegate actuator to see possitive pressure from manifold/tb.So this means the ecu controls the the pressure the actuator will "see" by means of the solenoid.dsm's only system to measure "pressure" is through airflow as they lack any sort of map sensor from the factory.

when the ecu sees an airflow number(hz+baro+temp)or knock count,of over a set limit,it will activate the boost solenoid to allow "boost" pressure to the wastegate actuator.

the ecu can and does control boost via boost solenoid.if youre writing code for the eprom theres nothing stopping you from upping the airflow count trigger for the boost solenoid.

The Gforce ECU can work out really well although it might take a little while to get perfect. You will still need a SAFC to dial it in properly. But with an actual ECU upgrade driveability should be much better.

A local guy has had on his 2g and he is just about the fastest et per mod guy out there. I would say a lot of that has to do with the ECU.
