Jim, how different can the two perform (IRC and RNR) if they both use the same 2-216 core:confused:

Ive got a buddy who makes custom FMIC kits for 1G's and 2G's. The core looks very much like the Spearco 2-216 and is available in a street and race core.

Street core (26X7X2 5/8): $300
Race core (26X11½X2 5/8): $450
Piping (coated any color with any BOV flange): $320

Check this thread for details:

I will have the race core on later this week and will give a review with pics.

I have had the Dejon Tool FMIC for several monthbs now and I love it. It saved me a few hundreds of dollars over "other" kits, I got good customer service and it was at my doorstep three days after I ordered it. Complete with all my options.:thumb:

RNR has spearco weld the endtanks so it's all good. I think IRC has spearco do the welding also... I'm not 100% sure on that one though.

RNR's piping is alittle longer than IRC's. But it doesn't require as much hacking of the car.
