My motor finally done.

After waiting 1 1/2 month for someone else to put my motor together. I decided to do it my self.
The block was deck and honed and I did all the assembly. Wiseco piston, Eagle rods, Crower race cames , cometic HG, Ferdenza flywheel, springs, retianer, ARP head studs and new bearings.
Replace all gaskets.
Took two weekends do to rechecking things over twice and taking my time. But every thing is back together. Just filled it up with fluids tonight.
The hardest part was checking for all the clearances to be right.
Will run it this coming weekend when my Greddy type R BOV and new RIMS arrive. Right now the car is on jack stands.


Anything I should watch for when Starting this motor.

Unhook the CAS and the ignition coil so that you can crank it a few times without starting it to allow the oil to circulate. Also unhook the clutch safety switch so that you can start it without pushing the clutch down.
