I'm all about puttin as little pressure on the crank as possible. Will filling my engine mounts with window weld reduce or apply more pressure to the crank/tranny etc. I know the engine shits in the engine bay when the thottle is open but im not sure how everything is connected.

Also which clutch is one step up from the stock clutch? I was thinking 2100 but it might be a little to much for me.

i believe act makes something below the 2100, the 2100 is comparable to a "stage 2" clutch, i think act makes a 1900 or something along those lines as 1 step up from stock, but i could be wrong, all i usually see is the act 2100, 2600, and 2900
if they dont make it clutchmasters does, they make stage 1 and 2 clutches, 1 is like 1700-1800lbs, stage 2 is around 2000lb

im not sure if filling your mounts would reduce pressure on the crank, it may help stop the engine from torquing forward when accelerating, but u might as well do it the right way and get solid urathane mounts, they will hold the engine much more still then filling stock mounts
i would recomend solid urathane mounts to anyone with a fwd dsm, my friend blew a 5" hole in his fwd tranny from wheel hop, with the solid mounts the wheel hop is almost completly gone
if ur not going to get solid mounts at least get the inserts, they are like 30 bucks and they slide into ur stock mounts, they arent as good in any way as solid mounts but its better and faster(no waiting for it to dry for a solid day) then filling ur mounts up with window weld

After checking out some diagrams, it looks like motor mounts would help prevent crankwalk if anything. Looks like it would help prevent the crank from snapping in two too.

Yeah I have heard of a few guys with 99s getting crankwalk but who knows. They says the 99s are to new to know for sure.
