Hey guys,

I have a 98 GST and when I'm in 2, 3rd gear and going into boost the car starts to sudder alot. Or when I'm going about 5 mph and in second gear and speed up it studders really bad also. Any ideas? I'm thinking spark plugs, or maybe the coils?

i had that prob too at full bosst it would studder and drop off almost like fuel cut, replaced my plugs and it ran fine

Its kinda funny how things get repeated and/or told like the problem is definetly right... I mean it is probably most likely your plugs or wires or something like that, but where do you come up with them grounding out on the valve cover and thats gotta be his problem???

Couldn't i be coil, fuel filter, FP or anything like that to? However Campbell Im not saying it is, and its most likely better to replace smaller crap first. Just make sure you keep up on yoru DSM like it should be and most of these problems wont ever happen....

also look for boost leaks, that will cause a stutter also if its bad enough.
