I think I might have a prob. in the head take a look

Alright I just bought this engine and while looking through it I saw in the 3rd inlet on the head from the left side of the engine there are little orange/red deposits all over and just small buildups of stuff I dunno what it is, it is only in this inlet and this is the inlet from the exhaust manifold, I didnt know if its something bad or if its something that just needs to be cleaned out. I have pics but they are blurry so try your best to let me know. Thanks

What did you do, put the camera up to your ear and snap a picture? I'm no doctor but from looking at that picture, I think there is a problem in your head.

you should start by turning the flash off and then going into a well lit area...

honestly looking at that picture makes my eyes hurt...so I can't help you.

Turn off the flash and don't place the lens so close the object.

by the looks of things its rust...considering youve got the head off replacing the head gasket should fix the problem
