I've got 2k in the bottom end/w purchase of 2.4.So yea you can build one.Cost is the same as 2.0 w/same parts.Just have to buy a 2.4 block/crank upfront.Wiseco/eagle-no balanace shafts.Importperformanceparts.com has them-4g64 with 63 head-$399w/rings.<-good deal.eagles are $400 or less.Well import shows combo for $699 on rods and pistons.Figure 600-700 bucks for machining/w bal.remove kit.Add the price of a junk yard motor, some new bearings-I bought the togas from importperf---.com.Bought used 2.4 from 89 sonata for $400-should be able to get one at that or cheaper. So there you go-way cheaper and youll have a trick 2.4.good luck.BTW-how much is $5000 canadian to US $'s-$132.12??LOLol kidding.
