i have a 93 talon awd but im putting a 6bolt in it. the motor is a 92 5spd motor. i want to put a new engine wiring harnes in it dose any 1 know how much it might be? and do i need to change the CAS harnes to work on the 92 motor. my old motor was a 7 bolt. or should i just get a 92 engine wiring harnes? will the 92 harnes fit my 93 ecu?

is the 5spd motor wiring harnes the same as an auto motor harnes or will i need to change to a 5spd wiring harnes and is their and are the 7bolt motor harnes the same as a 92 6 bolt harnes?

thanks mike

new like brand new, never been used before new? ur looking at about several hundred to possibly a thousand or more, its certainly not going to be cheap
we priced one when the front end of my friends 2g caught fire, it was 1100 bucks for a brand new harness(the insurance estimate on its price was 1300), and that was just the part of it that the headlights conected to, but that connects to just about everything under the hood, i dont know if it connects to the engine or not, we cut the part of it we needed off a dsm at a junk yard and spliced it in, bought a big ass front mount with the money he saved
ur best bet is to do like we did and cut whatever u need out of another car, its hardly cost effective to pay that much for one brand new, wiring harnesses are expensive as hell new

I recently swapped my 91 laser motor/trans into a 90 talon. Due to an electrical short which burnt up my engine wiring. Ok first off manual and auto tranny wiring harness's are completely different. Auto tranny cars have a TCU and manual cars do not. I bought 3 different harness's off trader for about $100 a piece and got screwed on everyone, i suggest you email partsncars, in nebraska thats what i did they sold me the correct wiring everything under the hood for $110 shipped now my car runs YAY!!! give them the exact year and drivetrain all the info of the car you need it for and your set.
