I have two Dsms i have a 1990 talon tsi awd that does not run. We dont know why. I also have a 1991 plymoth laser rs turbo fwd the engine is good on that but the body is messed up so im going to put my engine from the laser into the talon what will i run to as far as problems and is there any advise or anything i need to know. Im doing it this weekend so let me know as soon as possible

im not aware of any differences between the 90 engine and the 91(in terms of how its mounted), it should bolt right up, assuming ur bolting it to the awd tranny thats in the talon, but then again iv never had or worked on a 90, there are small differences all over the engine and car, but i dont think any of them will affect u bolting a 91 engine into the car

Ya it will bolt in the thing is that the alot of the plugs are different from what i know so im trying to figure out wether i need to strip everything out of the talon even the wiring and use everything from the laser i dont know someone help

The engine will bolt right up, however I believe the wiring is different. I know a different style ISC set-up was used on the 90 when compared to the 91 and the coil pack set-ups are different. Not sure what else.

yah i know the coil pack and the isc motor are different so im wondering if i should change over all the wiring to and what troubles i would run into when doing that ?
