Performance perfect until 5500rpm

Alright I just installed my greddy ic pipes and turbo xs type-h bov. The bov is designed to vent to the atmosphere and I have not one problem, car even runs better and smoother. After install I took the car out andwas boosting it hard and pushing the car to see what it could do and it ran completely fine in every gear until it hits around 5000-5500rpm. When I hit that range in my rpm the car starts to bog and power surges up and down. I dunno if its the bov or what, but give me your opinions. I need to know.

have you changed your plugs/wires?

yea they were changed about a month ago

hmm.. it sounds to me like the car is sputtering which is due to tuning or lack of spark.. maybe a fuel issue.. do you have a S-AFC or did u remove any of the honeycombs in the intake?

The exact same thing just happened to my friend. We were out running, and it started to putter around 5800.

We went back to his garage and starting checking things out. One of his intercooler pipes were loose and leaking a bit.

So check that.

His aftermarket plugs were already bad. So, we popped in some new bpr7es gapped at 28...and viola! Power all the way to redline.

It sounds like you are having the same problem. I would check you plugs first, then look for leak in your IC pipes. Just because you changed them doesnt mean they are not burnt up already. How long ago did you change them?
