Here's another cheap diy yourself mod. When installing my 14b in my 2g, I quickly realized that the stock oil line will not work. After searching, I found that really the only way to go was to buy a ss line for $45-$55. Thats too much for my cheap blood. So I thought about how, I can do it cheaper. Here's the parts list, and its real simple too. Bear w/ me as I am probably not calling these parts the right name.
Home depot (#1 store for diy people)
All Parts are in the hard line section of the store
2- 1/8 threaded compression connector fittings( basically a double ended stud w/ a hole drilled in through)
1-18"-24" ss line( just make sure it fits the threads on the connectors)
Now for the procedure. Simply disconnect your stock 2g feed line from the turbo. Then disconnect the feed line from the oil cooler, but make sure you disconnect it from the smaller bolt and not the bigger 19mm bolt. Leave that bolt in the oil cooler. Now assemble your ss line and fittings together. Then screw one end of the assemble line into the turbo. Then screw the other end into the 19mm bolt that you left in the oil cooler. Thats it! Your done. If you want to make sure you never get a leak you can simply add some type of thread sealent to all the connections, but you really don't need to. I know this write up is kind of vague, but you'll see everything I'm talking about when you take off your stock feed line.
