Ross Valve reliefs: what goes where?

The larger valve relief goes on the intake side correct? Please look at the pic below...

Yes, the larger valve reliefs go on the intake side. They are in backwards in that pic.

I paid $150 for the machine shop to put them in 180* off. Great....

Now they'll be more than happy to fix it for you, for free. Pistons are marked so that "front" and "rear" are easily determined. And if the machinist can't tell, it's up to him to FIND OUT.
