2g drivers motor mount on 1g?

ok i used to have a 2g, and the whole 2g drivers side motor mount, is just so much nicer then the 1g, its really small and doesnt wrap around half the engine

im pretty sure you cant just swap a 2g mount on, does anyone have any info on this, can you somehow manage to get it in, i know i remember seeing some site that sold 6 bolt motors that came equipped with the 2g motor mount

Why are you wanting to do this? A 2G mount is made for a 2G frame to fit to a 4G63 as a 1G mount is made for a 1G frame to fit to a 4G63. I'm sure there are some measurements that are off otherwise when doing a swap everyone would keep the 1G mount if the motor came with one. Thats my guess, of course it is a guess, anyone have some solid info?

if you looked at your mount, then looked at a 1g mount, you would be like wtf is that monstrocity, its like 15 inches long and wraps around the front of the motor

i mean why not, it makes doing things over there alot easier, and i could grab one out of a junk yard and if i could just file the stock holes a little or bend it a little.....ya know rig it up and throw it on, why not
