Oil Sensor wiring

[Doubletake]

Hi
I am just finishing replacing my walked 93 7-bolt, with what i was told was a 94' 6-bolt(but that can't be),...anyway,..the 7-bolt had 2 oil pressure sensors at the oil filter bracket,...the 6-bolt only has one,..do i need the 2?,..what should i do?

as far as i know u only need one. on a 1st gen its located near the oil filter. u could splice the wires together to be as if the one gauge was sending singals to both recievers in the ecu so it thinks theres two sensors sending two signals that are identical.

You should have a pressure sender, and an idiot light switch. The idiot light switch may be on the block.

can somebody help me out on this, I cant seem to find a place to install the wire for the light switch. I looked everywhere?

I am using the 90 external oil cooler housing and I moved the oil pressure sensor (big round golden plug) from the rear of the 7-bolt housing to the front of the 6-bolt housing right next to the oil filter. does that sound right?
