Hey, I have to replace my spark plugs and wires, does anyone have any advice on which to get. Any brands I should look for, any brands I should stay away from? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Holy crap, probably like ngyusoki guyki kismo or something japanese.,..I dont know. There are so may places where you could get those ngk wires and plugs...most auto parts stores, dsm dealers and BAP import parts has them really cheap. As for the magnecores, any import catalouge or shop should have those, as they are very popular!!

I'd stay away from the magnacore wires, I havn't seen a set hold up on a car.

I had the magnacore 10mm wires, the car started running like crap (after 3 months).... threw on the old OEM wires and the problems went away. Turns out the magnacores were bad, they had arched through very easily. Unfortunatly they blamed my car, and would not warrenty them -- which is common, RRE has a section on there site that explains this.

Personally I'd stick with STOCK spark plugs, or one degree colder (for high boost) and either NGK wires or OEM Wires.

I still run OEM Wires to this day

The thing is, is that I never ran them on any of my hondas. It seem that everyone has them for sale, and some swear by them. But a simple litlle resistanc test shows that the ngk's (7mm) have less than the KV85's and the msd's have the leist of any wire Ive ever tested. Whoever had my car before me already had magnecores, and I wsnt going to go buy new stocks. Talking to most dsmer, Ive always been referrd to magnecores, so why not....ehh?

hmmm...Magnecores and MSD's do not mix...something to keep in mind.

3 cars I know have had problems with them, and their warranty people will blame you and your car.

I would actually say Accel, MSD and NGK. Just my 2 cents so you can avoid future problems. Good luck.

Well then quit bickering about Magnacore and MSD, and do yourself a favor. Go and get some good Accel wires from NOPI.

They perform just as good if not better than any others, and dont have any ongoing issues either. Plus, they are cheaper than the rest by like $30.

people prolly just don't complain about the accel's because they expect them to be $hit for $25. LOL

Well that is because they are #@%#@%#@%#@%ing idiots. The accel's have a good performance rating. They work, they are fault free, and they are reliable.

So, do some damn research instead of running out and buying the same #@%#@%#@%#@% as everybody else, just because everybody else has them.

So far no problems with them on my car.....wonder why
