Is it possible to take a 1g Eclipse GS, and make it into a GSX?

Would it be a matter of getting the rear and the tranny/Transfer case, and ECU off of an AWD platform?

You can find a 1g DSM for under 1500 nowadays just buy an awd and save yourself the trouble.

didn't rre do a gsx conversion on a spyder? i know someone did can't remember who tho... was hella expensive. it was a 2g tho.. anything can be done - u just gotta have flow

To do what you are talking about doing..... would cost as much as buying 2-3 1g AWDs

Biggest thing I've seen forgotten when people buy all the parts, is the gas tank. If you insist on doing it conversion rather than just buying one, make sure you actually look at each little part and pre purchase everything.

Its possible..then again anythin is for the right amount of money..just go look for a 1G AWD car, you'd be better off, and it would be cheaper
