Well I pulled my newly rebuilt motor tonight to find out the crank has walked and ruined the block. Without getting into details why or how this happpened I'm trying to address the issue.

What I want to know is can a 2g head be put on a 1G block. I have alot of money invested into the head such as cams and intake manifold and don't want to trash the top end because the bottom end went belly up. I know the 1G head and IM is what I should go with but I'm trying to salvage a huge investment gone bad. Thanks for any input. I don't know if the oil passages line up or not. Anyhow any help would be greatly appreciated.
