well before installing my MBC and after installing my RNR turboback (3"), i did a 3rd gear run... well started to...
with the BCS restrictor removed, i was getting up to 14 PSI on stock exhaust. I figured the larger dump tube on the new exhaust would make it so it wouldnt be much differnt after install... i was direly wrong
At 4000 rpm i look over to my boost gauge and im pushing 18+ PSI... mind you this is on crappyass 91 octane CA gas...
The logger wasnt running, so i couldnt see timing to see if i was knocking, but i most certainly was without a doubt...
Luckily no damage SEEMED to have been caused.
Just thought i'd throw this out here as a warning, it isnt the first on free flowing exhaust and BCS restrictor removal
