New clutch??

I need a new clutch for my car, it has 123 000 on it, is an early 95 so supposedly has larger journals, thinking about a 2600 I want a decent mid to low 12's car that is real fun to drive (beat on) , is the 2600 okay , don't mind stiff pedal but I don't want to cw my engine.

I have a 97GST and a 95GSX both have had VERY stiff plates since I got them in them and neither one has CW'd. Not to say it won't happen. Just my personal expirience.

I would suggest a ACT 2600 with street disk for any AWD car... hell, I ran one with a T25, and still pulled 1.8 60's all day long.


After a ton of drag passes, and 20k miles, the first ACT 2600 finally went out (was still pulling 1.70 60's... just was slipping in second gear bad). I threw in another street disk (and tob), checked the pressure plate (everything was good), threw it back together and managed to pull a 12.09 at 119 the next day.

I love this clutch!

so I guess it's going to be the 2600, rather the clutch go then the lsd.

gotta love ACT i got a 2600 in my Talon and a extreem pp with street disc in my integra the one in my teg been in for 3 years in still grabs like the day it got put in. the talon grabs like a champ.. no slippage or anything just grab and go. gotta love ACT.
