It's funny what I do and do not have pictures of. Maybe if the bumper cover comes off gain I will snap a few pics. Basically I have my oil filter mounted right below the driver’s side headlight. You can access it through the wheel well.

I only see positives for doing this. It makes oil changes super easy, The Mustang oil filter hold about twice as much oil, You have much better choices with filters, The filter is completely out of the way of your downpipe and wastegate dump tube, and you never have to worry about this filter falling off. The only downside is that to set it up with AN fittings and stainless steel hose it gets kind of expensive.

How much temp reduction do you think I have by simply moving the filter way from the 02/ D/P area and exposing the filter to oncoming air.

Im also using a permacool universal relocation kit and large mustang filter

I don’t have an oil temp gauge so I cant be sure but moving the filter from the hottest part of the motor to a place where it gets nothing but oncoming air has to make a HUGE difference. Nice pic

Yeah neither do I, I was guessing the same thanks.

I noticed about a 15 degree reduction cruising at 80 in my car. This is with the downpipe wrapped beforehand too.
Aren't you afraid some punk ass kid is going to back off your filter in a parking lot?

Most kids around here couldn't change a tire much less remove a oil filter:laugh:

No I did mean some punk ass taking it off while you're parked. There's a couple sh*theads in my apartment complex that might do that.

Setrab, Serck Marston or Mocal are the best oil coolers out there. The 119 Setrab is a good choice but why not use the 619 which is exactly double the size of the 119. The 619 is the bigest I could fit on my '91 and it works great. I also have relocated the oil filter to the passenger side of the engine bay using a universal 4 ports Perma Cool. You can also chose to keep the Water/Oil cooler but you will need some fabrication to do it but I highly recomend you to use a '90 oil filter housing.
