the turbo in my auto 1g is shot and i am in the process of buying a b16g and i have read that i will need a new manifold to. why is that ? and will the evo one work fine?

Yes, I have heard that too, but can't confirm it since I'm a 2G guy. Don't know either about the EVO manifold, but just ask some place that sells them, like RRE. I bet it would work, though, if I had to guess.

it prolly said you need a new one cause most 1g exhaust manis are shity and cracked...
your old one will work

Well all I know is that if you upgrade the 1st gen 13G to a 14B...you need the 14B manifold or a 2nd gen manifold. I'm going to be upgrading to 14B/2nd gen exhaust manifold setup within the next few weeks.
