Question 2g 450cc injectors ok for 1g upgrade?

Are 450cc injectors from a 2g ok to use on a 1g instead of the "blue topped 450cc"normally used by most. Thanks for your help.

It is by no means an upgrade They are the same size but if you want to replace a set of 1G's that have 140,000 miles on them with a set of 2G's with with 40K or 50K miles on them then I don't see anything wrong with that.

You'll run richer if you have no fuel control. Remember your ECU is calibrated for the smaller injectors and turbo.

Like he said, the 2g and 1g 450 cc/min injectors flow the same, although they do have a different spray pattern.

I had one 2g injector and 3 1g injectors in my car for over a year, because I broke one of the 1g ones. The car ran fine.

Fuel control is a MUST.
