Im shopping around for a new intake manifold and I was thinking about upgrading my throttle body as well. I have heard that you can get a mustang one on there as well as a 1g TB. What would you guys recommend for a daily driven car? Also doesnt BBK make a bigger TB?

whatever you do, dont get the BBK TB. They are known to break very quikly. I think that with anything other than the 1g TB, you will get a bad idle and lose a little bit of drivibility.

If nessicary, you can get the 1g bored out from 60mm to 64mm.

I think there is also a 80mm TB made by JUN, but it would be horribly expensive.

tim, guys are running mid 11s on the stock 2g manifold. if i were you i would concentrate on the basic stuff. go with the pte 50 trim turbo, big front moint, 660's, fuel control. youll run plenty fast with that stuff without having to mess around with bad idle issues and such.

true I was just looking around. If its not a big deal what so ever to upgrade then why do it right? Thanks for the info guys.

1g tb is 30 bucks and way worth the money and the hour effort to get it in.

A bigger tb and intake manifold will do you no good unless you port match the head! Correct me if I'm wrong here.

Is their different 1g Throttle bodies? I'm doing a 6 bolt swap into a 2g and i have a 1g intake manifold. Is one year 1g throttle body better then another?

The problem with the BBK is that is doesn't have a throttle stop, meaning that at WOT you would except a normal 90 degree rotation. Without the stop it goes over 90 degrees making this is a bad design, so you need to tack weld an aluminum tab on it to stop it from going over.
