Frount Mount Question?

I just picked up a Starion Front Mount, its in mint condition.. Ok now the Inlet/outlet piping looks very small, and i wanted to know were i would go to have it upgraded. Also what kind of Install are we looking at? is there any Fabrication that it difficult? Any info will help

With that intercooler you will probablly hear this another 5 times from other guys, it's barely better than stock asside from the fact that it's front mounted. It's hardly worth the trouble. The core is so inefficent that it's not really worth it.

He never asked how the intercooler was He asked how to get it fabbed up to mount it.

Id say check local welding shops that can weld aluminum, maybe they can make some end tanks for it. Ask some people who have them, Im sure at least 10 of the tuners here have one on their car.

I have one on mine. I just wanted a cheap front mount and my car is all junkyard mods It was a lot of work though. I couldn't find a shop around me that would reweld the inlet and outlet for me. So I got a roll of aluminum wire and welded it up myself. Mig welding aluminum is a PITA though!! That and I brought the car to a local muffler shop with the front bumper removed and had him bend me up some custom piping. It's tough for me to say if it made a difference though because I changed a TON of stuff at the same time.
Now here's a question, everybody says that starion frontmounts suck. Well, not all of us have big $$$ for a nice frontmount. What other junkyard available frontmounts would be worth the time? Rather than bash, give us other options
