550's on a big 16g

If I get 550's injectors, will that be enough to take full advantage of a Big 16g, or should I go 650's injectors???

I just ordered a SAFC, is it complicated to hook it up, or should I just get it installed professionally???

The injector question depends on your base fuel pressure. I'm no 2G expert, but the consensus seems to be that 2G ECU's don't allow for good timing advance without "larger" injectors.

sAFC is very easy to set up... (wires to the ECU)
tuning it however... reqires a little more knowledge

Go for the 660cc injectors; they will give you better timing advance with a 2g. A safc is not too hard to wire up; maybe you or a friend knows how to solder. Tuning the safc is an art. Don't even think about tuning it without and egt gauge and a pocketlogger.

Go with 660's. I have a Big 16g with ND 550's @ 18 psi (with all supporting mods). According to the pocketlogger, i sometimes reach 96% injector duty. So i'm going to go 660's also.

Go with the 660's. I thought 550's would be fine until I started hitting the fuel cut even with an AFC. 660's just gives you more room to tune.
