Turbo back exhaust question

I've got a 1993 Talon TSi AWD. It's all stock besides the K&N air filter. I got a quote for a custom 3" Turbo back with a highflow cat, using magnaflow components for $1190. usd. $1600 canadian. installed. Is this a good price? What kind of hp gains would I be looking at? Thanks.

$1200 USD sounds like a lot, especially since it's custom. The high-flow cat adds to the price (cats are more expensive than just straight piping,) but that's still pretty steep. Most DSM vendors sell a 3" turbo back system for less than $1000.

my RnR 3" turbo back with the o2 eliminator was $775 shipped to my door. I can't wait to get it put on, it looks MEAN.

What options did you get on your exhaust?

beast_bl, does the custom exhaust include a tubular O2 sensor housing?

I got the o2 elim., test pipe (no cat), straight through muffler, and a tip welded on. Basically all the 3" goodies, but without stainless, just aluminized steel. I can't wait!

That price of $1200 includes installation. O2 housing, downpipe, hf cat, muffler, all misc. pipes, all stainless.

What would the typical hp gains be?

just get the RnR .. 1200 is a rip off imo..

20-30hp maybe? i really dont know, i dont have one of these cars, but i have everything planned out that ima do to it!
