Turbo Upgrade

I have a stock 96 Talon TSi AWD. My T25 just crapped out on me. I figured I would just upgrade the turbo for a couple hundred more rather than look for used replacements or sending it off to be rebuilt. I was going to get a small 16G or big 16G. I was just wondering if the big 16G would work sufficiently on my stock setup until I was able to upgrade the car further. Thanks.
