i bought my gst from a used car lot, and had the dealership replace the water pump because there was a small water leak. but whenever someone is behind my car, it still smells like its running rich... help would be MUCH appreciated... any suggestions? O2 sensor or something?

is it still the same after it runs for a while? or just when you start, and how many miles does it have, before after oil changes and just in general. It can range from a tune up to a Exhuast Manifold so please try to be more specific.. Snoop around the engine and rev it some.

thanks for the help...
i bought it with 68 and now it has 72, got the oil changed twice in between...
but is it possible(hopefully not:rolleyes: )that im runnin a cylinder short, because on the way home tonight i heard a slight... 'slapping'...???

okay I have the problem too once I disconnect the battery, cause it resets the ecu and then engine has to "learn" or tune it's self, it always go a little rich to be safe.

thanks fellas, the help is much appreciated...
