I went to the dyno today and put down some pretty decent numbers, 411whp and 391ft-lbs at 21psi on 93 octane. I would have made more progress with my tuning but I ran into a problem while tuning my AEM EMS. The EMS has a speed limiter that was kicking in at about 120mph and I wasted the first couple hours of my dyno session trying to figure out how to fix that problem. I made a couple of phone calls and found out how to fix this problem thanks to Brian at FP. After a couple of runs I made 411whp but there is still a lot of tuning left to do on my car. Hopefully I will make it back to the dyno this Tuesday, then I can lean it out and try turning up the boost with the help of some c16.

wow.. on pump gas.. and only 21 psi.. u said somethign bout turning up the boost.. how much boost is that? cant wait.. u should get some vids of ur dyno sessions.. ev erybody seems to be doing it these days. but i dont mind :)

Beautiful! As someone currently shopping for a killer street/strip turbo, I look forward to seeing your future dyno maps. I'm also using the EMS with wideband tuning.

A stroker, aftermarket intake manifold, cams, etc. etc. You have the hardware to run that beast of a turbo. 411 whp should be a very modest starting point with all that. The FP30's beg for 25 to 30 psi.
I must say, Looking at your dyno run and considering the tuning experience you likely have, It is a little disheartening to consider the probable power output if one only has a 2.0 liter, and a stock manifold.
Stroker, someday!

I will repeat, I really look forward to seeing what you do in future.

You should be able to eat this Green dyno map given more tuning. I can only be amazed at what Dre does with a Green. Yet, the similarities between the maps are interesting. They could almost be the same turbo.

hey, on your act 2900 did you go with one of the puck'ed disks or with a street disk? and how do you like it?...im getting ready to order my clutch asap and im trying to decide. thanx

OMG I'm jealous. The pimp factor of the 2G (as compared to the 1G, although the '91 pop-ups are looking nicer every time I see ArcticTSi with the lazy pop-ups), with a stroker in it. I'm just slightly jealous. You should get some track times posted as soon as you get it tuned right :thumb:

I went back to the dyno today but the car is still not being pushed to it's full potential. I've basically maxed out the stock ignition and I'm getting misfires at high rpm. I'm pretty sure this is the reason why my HP is going flat and after I install a MSD dis-2 and a couple of coils I'll be back on track.

It's possible, after all I'm running a 2900lb clutch on a 7-bolt. Nothing I can do but drive it and hope everything goes well.

i would use a 2500 clutch with sprung 6 puck disk from rps. its about 400 dollars and take 575 plus ft lbs of torque. intrusive i have a really nice coil on plug system you might be interested in. pm me and we'll talk about it. you might not need a dis-2 just this straight clip in bolt on coil on plug ignition system.
