I'm getting my head rebuilt, valves, springs retainers, port & polish and pistons. I was thinking of getting Victory Performance to do it. Has anyone had their engine worked on there or does anyone know if they are good? From what I've seen on their website they look like they know what they're doing.

I dont like like to bad mouth shops, but I would say you are looking to wait for a very long time.

I ordered an intercooler from the guys, it took 2 weeks more than it should. then I recieve the stuff and the box looked like it just came out of a war, literaly 1/3 of the intercooler was sticking out and the UPS guy was trying to hold it in. The packing is very bad.

The core wasnt even covered with anything, the kit was missing 5 T-bolt clamps and one coupler. around 40-50$ worth of parts.

I contacted them and they said they will ship the missing parts and never heard from them since. They ignore my emails, so I stopped emailing them.

I was waiting to recieve the stuff and my next order was worth more than $2000 of parts. Basically everything needed to build a race block. didnt tell them that to see if they will send the missing stuff like they should, and now they didnt. So I am looking somewhere else.

They promise and dont deliver on time. So dont order something that you need desperatly unless they have it in stock.

I dont want to bring other shop names, but there are a lot of good ones out there.

good luck.

There are a couple of local machine shops but I would'nt trust them to do any of my work.
Do you know any good shops that does head work, and sells engine parts?

I know someone else who waited 3 MONTHS for their Victory FMIC. When they got it, they liked it though. Sort of sucks, I've been looking at 2G FMICs, and thier's easily looks like the best.

I sent them emails th last 3 weeks & never got a response. I just got an email back from Slowboy. I'll probably use them. Thanks for letting me know about Victory Performance befor I sent it. I dont have time to wait that long.

Kingdom forgot to mention he lives in the Middle East! We had no idea how beat up the package would get especially traveling half way around the world. It's a large box too. We do our best to make sure everything is packaged tight and safe. Some things are outside our control.

Kingdom forgot to mention it was a used intercooler and that we paid for a portion of his shipping which was quite expensive. Kingdom, for the record, we absorbed $100 in shipping costs which you were unaware of. See if Slowboy will do that. Unlikely.

Kingdom also forgot to mention to us that the box was that beat out. If stuff was "literaly 1/3 of the intercooler was sticking out " I can imagine why you were shorted clamps. Ever think they may have fallen out.

Want the truth. We sell high quality parts and have excellent prices. Want to know about our head work. Ask John Rodriguez who recently went 114mph on a 14B turbo and has run as fast as 12.2 with minimal tuning.

We will continue to provide high quality parts and supply them in a timely fashion. Customer service will remain my first priorty.

For those looking to purchase intercoolers we are nearly to the point were we can pull them off the shelf and ship the same day. I recall a time when you couldn't get a Greddy FMIC because they were so backed up. I don't see anyone here slamming them.

We've come a long way and I remain focused on serving our customers to the best of our ability.

As for Kingdom were out a $100.00 on your order as it stands, to send another couple clamps and coupler with shipping half way around the world will probably cost us another $100.00. Send us an e-mail of your requirements and we'll take care of it. Next time we'll try harder.

Sorry Victory but you should have replied to my emails and explained why you werent shipping the parts. The ignoring part is what got to me honestly.

Plus I didnt exactly get the intercooler cheap. I paid $1000 for it and its used and without a fan, and I paid for the radiator Catch can which should all have been part of the kit. So I dont see how you exactly lost money.

100shotofNOS probably wouldnt have come and asked us about your shop if you returned his emails. He would have probably already purchased the intercooler.

Listen, this deal has gone sour. So lets just forget about it, I dont want this to turn into a question and answer battle.

I had the right to explain what happened to me, and you explained why it happened. So lets just leave it at that and let the other people decide for themselves.

Add me to that list. I asked them about a turbo last month. No answer. That's ok, keep it. When someone dissrespects me I figure they are covering up for something.

Personally I like VP, I think they have great customer service. Every time I call to place an order, Scott is very informative and helpful; he always ships my orders on time without any hassles. And the quality of his products is amazing. Not once did I have a problem with VP.
