A few quick questions when i install this on my 91 laser this week!! What do u guys put over your dump tubes??? And when i put it on how do i set it?? Do i tighten the screw all the way in?? So many turns out?? Thanks guys!!!!!
 
First things first. You put the dump tube hose over the dump tube, and connect it with the HKS recirculation fitting you better already have bought. Unless you have a VPC or a GM MAF translator. The screw? It's pointless, anyways it didn't change a thing on my BOV. I guess tighten it as much as you can without getting compressor surge. You'll have to drive a bit, adjust, drive, adjust, etc.
 
the screw does alot....when you rev it should release a lil...thats about all it takes cause HKS's dont leak.

as i have said before to you...when you vent, you will run rich, foul your plugs, kill your o2 sensors, use lots of gas, and run like crap in general (especially after the plugs turn black)...you wont notice this much, you may even THINK its running better...but its not. plain and simple. i found this out the hard way...you will too.

if your willing to risk all of that....go to home depot and buy a PVC pipe end thingy. i think (measure) its a female 1" that fits...then hose clamp it on. (paint it too)
 
And I dont want to hear anybody chime in saying:

"I vent and my car is perfectly fine"

These people do not know what they are talking about and have never dataloged their cars to find out what is acctually happening. The car is NOT fine and does NOT run anywhere close to perfectly fine.

Buy the re-circ fitting from HKS and re-route that baby in.
 
So what would u guys do i alll ready bought the bov but realy want that pssssh sound!! So can i cap of the dump tube or, buy the recuricalation fitting???? And what are thoes inserts like that hks makes???? thanks!!
 
hmm, why dont you go for a ramchargers MAFT. that way you can tune fuel, vent to the atmosphere, and have a good running car. its about 250 installed (unit, MAF, 2.5-3" fittings)
