OK, this guy offers to sell me a 16G and his stock 3G wheels and tires, all for $200. The wheels are the six-spoke wheels that I think come on the GT's, but they're cooler than my stupid GSX wheels. I took the guy up on the offer after checking the turbo. No shaft play at all, it seems to be in good condition. But, it came with nothing. No parts from the 16G install kit. It's literally just the turbo, no oil line or ANYTHING. The install kit I can get, but what can I do about the rest of the stuff? Can it use the lines I have on the T25? I've never bought a turbo before so I don't really know what I'm supposed to have. Am I screwed, or can I put this turbo on my car once I get the install kit?

But will the install kit be all I need? I don't have any parts that may go with the turbo, like I said, I have no idea what else I may be supposed to have with the turbo. See the pic of the 16G on Turbochargers.com? That's what I have, and nothing else. Is there anything else I need besides the install kit?

I'm just to come right out and say it. I can't stand cheap ungrateful bastards like yourself. You got a set of 17" wheels and tires and a 16g turbo for $200 dollars. In my opinion, at that price the turbo should need a rebuild, two of the tires should be bald, and at least one rim should be bent. Quit your crying Suzie Rottencrotch.

can i wave the BS flag now or later?

-The turbo shouldn't come with anything.
-For $200.00 that was a steal. I would get it checked out by a mechanic to make sure there is nothing wrong with it just because of the price.

As for installation: Check this out.
14b/16g on a 2G

Guys, you're misunderstanding me. I'm not griping at all - I realized after I posted the thread what a stupid title I gave it. I didn't get screwed at all, this was a great deal. I would've given $200 for the 3G wheels and tires alone. But, having never bought a turbo before, I wasn't sure if there were other parts I needed BESIDES the install kit. I asked a worker at a local speed shop and he said, "oh yeah, it should come with water lines, oil lines, blah blah...." and named off stuff I thought was included in the 2G install kit. When I told him about the install kit, he said that would only have the parts needed to make the 16G connect up in the T25's place. He was sure the return lines and stuff would come with the turbo. Since the turbo I got didn't have anything like that, I was worried I'd have to find my own parts. Sorry for the confusion, I just was unsure!

everything you need to connect it (with the exception of some sort of J-pipe, which can be made for free) is off of the T-25. Well, except the oil feed that is...

id pick that turbo up from ya... ;) ..haha...seriously if ud rather jus get rid of it lemme know, i'd give u a decent offer.

plymouthtalon,

Since you have cleared that up, I take back the comments I posted. Good luck finding the stuff you need, and I hope it all works out for you.
