Does Garrett make a direct replacement for the t25? I'm sure they fully test all their turbo designs for maximuim performance and reliability. That's why I want a fully Garrett designed and tested turbo. If so who carries them?

you can get many T28's on the market today. IMHO, I think that they all are pretty comparable. One that is popular is the agp (www.agpturbo.com) T28. There are many others...check out these sites (sorry, vendors, if i missed anyone)
www.turbochargers.com
www.forcedperformance.com
www.slowboyracing.com
www.agpturbo.com
These are the sites that most readily come to mind. I think that they would all be good choices for you, but it all depends on what you are looking for and how much you want to spend. Good luck with the decision!

Don't forget that if Garret themselves doesnt make a T28 (which I dont think that they do), its because they have to take the T25 comp. housing and shave out the inside of it to make room for the larger CW. Then not to mention that the turbo now has to be balanced and such.

Garret does make a T28 but it wont work on a DSM. Like he said they take the T28 wheel and stuff it into a T25 housing.

It's not the T28 wheel that's used on the new "T28's", it's actually one of Garret's newer GT series wheels. I think it's like the GT25/28, or something like that.
