i heard that they dont have four wheel dyno's in pa to check emissions. i heard all they do to check emmisions on awd cars in pa was an emissions test at idel. i just put a straight pipe on my car and took of the cat. i was wondering if any one in pa has dont this and passed inspection?

IM an auto tech in Pa, with state inspection & emission licenses. You are coorst. AWD vehicles get the idle and 2500rpm test. This is the old style used on all vehicles years ago. There are still several areas that have no emissions testing at all. Be carefull though. The idle test is, sometimes, more difficult ot pass than the ASM test.
