my turbo motor is blown. i need to know how much boost I can run with the n/t motor w/ 93 octane. Iam going to hookup the stock knock sensor to my n/t block and of course have the turbo computer and everything. can I run 9psi on a 14b? what about with race gas? how fast would the car be?

If it's temporary, don't run any boost at all. Why are you even asking about race gas and how fast the car will be?

because be temporarerly, I mean a couple months. The n/t engine iam sure can handle some amount of boost. I don't want to be slow for the next couple months. And besides it doen't matter how much I abuse the n/t engine. I got it for free.

?? umm no matter how low you turn the boost controller, the turbos gonna still boost some, especially under quick throttle. just run your stock boost. should be around 10-13 PSI. i wouldnt go beating on that engine too much or else you may blow another.

I answered your question based on my own experience not BS. I put a NT motor in a car and ran 18psi with it. The car ran 12.80s at the track for several months on the 14b and all other factory parts and is still running strong over a year later. The NTs pistons are higher compression and have a weaker top ring land... so they dont take as much abuse. As long as you keep it from detonating you will not have any problems.
