ever since i installed my o2 housing, i've been having a bit of a hot idle problem. it mostly occurs on hot days when the car idles at a stoplight for a period of time. this leads me to believe that the problem is due to the intercooler becoming heat-soaked. airing out the intercooler at high speeds seems to correct the problem. another possible culprit could be exhaust leaks between the turbo and the o2 housing. this would cause underhood temperatures to rise and the filter would be sucking in hot air. would either of these situations cause my idle to hang around 2000 rpm?
