How much boost on T25 / 100 Octane

Whats the MAX amount of boost I should try running on 100 Octane with the T25, I'll be doing a couple 1/4 Runs with this. I know people get more HP at 20+ psi rather than 16 PSI. Thanks.

The mods that matter are

You would get more power at 20+ psi, but your turbo can't flow that much. )

The T-25 is inefficient, so you probaly want to run only 16 psi or so.

In fact, with your car, running 100 octane might not be worth it. Unless you're getting knock on pump gas, it may not do you much good.

larryd has some dyno sheets posted around here somewhere showing he made the most power at 23psi (highest he tried) on his t25 with race gas. I used to run mine at 19 psi on amoco 92 and made the most power there.

I ran my car with 100 at the track and got a [email protected] on my T25. All I ran was 19 psi and watch it fall fast to 12.5 at redline. So it can be don't but not till redline.

You didn't mention an aftermarket BOV, so with that stocker you looking at only 14psi anyway, so don't waste the money on race gas, save up for a BOV. Anything about 14 is just being thrown away.

Got a logger? That will help show you how much boost the engine can handle. Or you could just keep turning up the boost until you don't go any faster and hope the engine doesn't blow. I recomend the logger, it's much cheaper than a blown engine.

I also recomend that you shift gears at 6100 rpm. Once the boost starts to fall off, there's no point in reving it any higher.
