APEXI N1 EXHAUST or GREDDY EVO???

I heard the evo is a pretty nice exhaust, I don't know if it's stainless tho. The apexi says it's 3 inch but it bottlenecks down to 2.5 in the muffler. Depends what your going for like airpopoff said. Their both nice exhausts.

Apexi sounds ricey to me. Alot of people like the sound and swear by it tho. I never heard a greddy evo.

APEX N1 is the best Exhaust for the DSM the second Best is the Thermal and the EVO doesnt even come close. But to each its own the APex goes down to 2.5 inch for the adapter to adapt to the stock CAT but if you replace it then its a full 3inch system cant beat that.

well, i like the sleeper sound of the evo and i like the way it looks from the side and back of the car.:thumb:

I have the Apexi cat-back exaust, I don't know where you guys got the info that it "bottlenecks down to 2.5 in the muffler " mine is all 3" from the cat all the way to the muffler. mmmmm

It's not ricey at all, it doesn't sound like a landmower, like most hondas do, it'a deep sound, plus if you don't like the way it sounds it comes with a silencer, stick it in the muffler and you have a stock sound.

The evo is alot more quiet. My friend has it on his WRX and I love the sound. At idle, it sounds like stock but when you get on it the sound is deep but not really loud. I dig his wrx because his exhaust is loud enough to tell its not stock but his blow off valve is pretty loud.

id go with a n1 even tho i have a thermal, which i recommend

I don't really like the Greddy systems. The looks and style of it. I perfer the N1 look. They also sound great and look mean. We also sell a system that looks exactly like the n1 without any neckdowns. Our SS and 4" tip combo are near indentical to the N1. If you can tell we like the look of the N1 system over here.

just get a 3" 02 elim downpipe and run it open from there :thumb: youll get the best performance outta it...but the popo prolly wouldnt like it. anyways, yeah i would go with the n1. the evo is quiet as hell. youll get about the same performance out of both tough

Are we sure the performance is the same, if so its all up to what sound and look you want.

Ya, I ran a 3" 02 elim downpipe with no exhaust for a couple months on my FWD daily driver. It was loud, but I loved the sound of the turbo spooling. I never got harrassed by the cops, but I was also careful where I got on it.

piping is the same diameter on both catbacks, just that the evo doesnt neck down to 2.5" again at the muffler, the apexi does. performance wise shouldnt make much of a difference unless yer pushing massive hp. im pretty sure the apexi is 2.5" to 3" back to 2.5", greddy is just 2.5" to 3" all the way out.

Not to go off topic, but I'm looking for a new downpipe, and came across the 3" N1 Converter eliminator downpipe. I can buy one for $230 new and it's mandrel bent, titanium coated mild steel with flex. My question is, with this downpipe/race pipe bolt up to my Buschar Racing 2.5" catback? I will eventualy upgrade to a 3" catback but i have the 2.5" catback on the car now and want to know if it will botl up right. Also does this DP bolt up to the stock o2 housing, and what afternarket o2 housings will it bolt up to. $230 brand new for DP and Racepipe combo...this is too good to be true!! Most other 3" Downpipes were close $300 new with out the cat eliminator. Thanks for the help!!!
